Is there some damn way
To make a change
Some place I can go to
When things are grim
If I took a chance
On reason / circumstance
That might get me through
When things are grim
Am I stuck in a phase
Unaware of a place
That I can just go to
When things are grim
BREAK
Without a solution
To this evolution
What will be will be
When things are grim
Am I stuck in a phase
Every single day
I lack the follow through
When things are grim
And when I try
To say good-bye
Everything just feels like
When things are grim

Born To Die (Version 2)
01:32
|
|||
Someday
When life gets harder
Oh wait
That’s starting today
I’ll plan out my future
To make life easier
I’ll do this
No matter what they say
I’m born to die
And, I don’t know why
That’s life
I’m not wanting to age
There’s something written
In all this art work
That we all
Seem to disobey
I say unto you
Oh, that’s another book
The things that you do
Will come back to you
Well, I don’t know
But, I think I’ll go
Wrestle some more
With the heart today
And, I can’t be sure
Through all this hurt
That there isn’t
A way
I’m born to die
And, I don’t know why
That’s life
I’m not wanting to age
I’m born to die
That’s life
I’m not wanting to age

I like to sing
Without a doubt
But, no one’s gonna hear it
Unless I shout
In the beginning
It was the two of us
Nothing but time and trust
I decided to take a chance
And, play around with music and sweet romance
It paid off
Not in the money way
But, in all the other ways that count
As a hobby
No dreams for me
Of doing anything in the industry
I’m a big boy, I’m old and such
And, I know that many think I suck
BREAK
But, don’t worry
I’m glad you see
I’m sharing this with you real happily
In then end, it’s my property
And, all of that means a lot
I got a thing
For the obvious
I love to make music or bust
I love to make music or bust
I love to make music or bust
